How my peace was stolen before I ever knew who I was. I was exposed to childhood trauma and began to have suicidal thoughts as a teenager. I badly desired not to feel the pain that had broken me. Instead of facing the pain and leaning towards the savior. I created a cover up. I needed others to believe I was emotionally and mentally okay. Looking as though everything was under control. When Truthfully I was beginning to unmask. Healing is something that takes place from within but often we choose to portray positive results over fighting to reach real healing. The battle Through may not be easy but the Lord says he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:16). You must grab hold on to that spiritual word as though it were a rope of steel pulling you from a pit of quicksand and never let go of His truth.
