Born in Jersey, raised in Los Angeles, Tre’ has always enjoyed writing stories in school. In the 7th grade his teacher was so impressed with a simple story he wrote about eating ice cream at a bus stop. She encouraged him to enroll in a summer program for higher achieving students, despite him being an average student. In the program, he had an assignment to write a poem. Given a week to complete the assignment, Tre’ did his twenty minutes before it was due, and got an A+. He believes his gift for writing, is his attempt to place the reader into the story, almost forcing them to relate with a character and/or situations.
