Ava Adams lives invisibly, lost, and alone, unable to hide from her past or find the family she lost. Brandon Cullen is a police officer, working as a man on the inside to defend his people from hatred. Zach reels at the loss of his parents, avoiding those who would detain him for his mixed blood. Labelled as powerful, unruly, and dangerous, the Mixed Bloods fight against an oppressive system, and dangerous foes.

An impending war threatens their very existence, forcing Ava, Brandon, and Zach to fight for their lives.

Autumn Rain works as a cook in a preschool and spends the rest of her time writing and playing Pathfinder. Her writing companion, Moogie the Pug, keeps her company as she types away. She loves video games, comic books, and more than anything, her children (many of whom are not hers biologically, but have stuck around). Autumn loves to spend her time at home, curled up under a warm blanket and a pile of dogs, watching Bob’s Burgers with her coauthor. Her writing comes directly from her soul and speaks to many who have not truly been seen in their lifetimes.

Alana Rain spends all of her time reading, playing Pathfinder, and watching the same three shows on repeat while she writes. She is working on earning her Bachelor’s in early childhood development, so she can move on to earn her degree in Speech Pathology. Alana has always had a love for books, in school she would always hide one under her desk during lessons. After winning a county-wide essay contest, she branched out and discovered a love of writing. She is fiercely devoted to showing off a diverse bunch of characters and bringing them to life through her writing.
