Sunshine State Trials... And Fanciful Notions follows Langden Chlebek from a position as a law clerk with the Legal Aid Criminal Defense office of Florida’s ficticious 21st Circuit to a lawyer for the same office, a full-fledged official attorney. She meets a lot of great people, from trial partners, colleagues, opposing counsel, and yes, even defendants in her experience in this capacity. She tries to have a good time with her time off and not go to work every weekend, kicking back at Gator sporting events and courts of appeal oral arguments. A main benefit of living in Prembine River County is the proximity to her family, including Aunt Brynn, who moves south to join the Chlebeck clan local to the coastal Atlantic county where she grew up.

Langden Chlebek is a criminal defense lawyer for the indigent defendants of the fictitious Prembine River County, working at the fictional Legal Aid Criminal Defense Office of the nonexistent 21st Circuit in the beautiful state of Florida. She enjoys her work very much, everything from handling arraignment, to docket sounding, to motion hearings, to, of course, trials. Her favorite thing to use paid time off to do is go on vacations with her family as well as attend oral arguments at Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.
