Salvation is the greatest thing that can happen to any human. At the very moment that you wholeheartedly surrender everything to the Lord Jesus Christ, the old things pass away as you become a new creature and are truly set free from the bondage and dominion of sin. But salvation isn't the end, it's only the beginning. It's an entryway into the process of sanctification, which is the means through which every Christian becomes transformed into the very image of Jesus. Following the path from salvation to sanctification can only be done under the guidance of the Lord, and His guidance is only made totally available to those who are close to Him. This means that having a relationship with the Most High God is His intention for you; it's the reason He extended His grace toward you in the first place. This book will show you how to navigate from salvation into service, and from there, into sanctification by enlightening your understanding of what it means to be spiritually mature. This book will take you through the truths of Scripture and reveal God's will for your life to you. It will show you how to develop an intimate relationship with God by making you aware of your responsibilities in your interactions with Him and by showing you how to keep them through the practical application of the Word to your everyday life.

Cedric Iglehart is the founder of Real Talk Global Ministries, whose mission is to edify the Church by informing it about the truth of God's Word as it explains itself, and by raising awareness of every Christian's responsibility to become an active participant in their own sanctification. Although he was raised in the Baptist faith, he spent most of his adult life living contrary to God's will while in the throes of alcoholism and depression. Eventually his downward spiral landed him in prison, where he finally surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and began walking in his calling as a teacher. Iglehart was regularly published during his 20-year newspaper career as a journalist, but Real Life is the first time he has been published as a book author.
