JESUS ANGEL CARRERA was born in a small village called Xochipala in the state of Guerrero, Mexico a Nahuatl speaking community in the early age but now Spanish speaking. He was born as a Mestizo who immigrated to the United States in 1995 escaping poverty and corruption with the purpose of following the American dream. He studied Ethnic Studies in college and still taking courses to improve his writing skills. He was born in April 4 of 1980 repatriated once and allowed to re-enter legally into the United States as an Asylum seeker because of the corruption that is happening in his state (43 students were killed and that is why he was granted to re-enter).
