Brooke Taylor was thirteen years old when she was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in all of her fingers and wrists. As she grew up, she felt isolated from her individuals who did not understand her pain or know that children could even have Arthritis. For her capstone project at El Segundo’s biomedical pathway, she decided to create a children’s book to share with other children who are diagnosed normality and a sense of unity in this disease. To show that they are not alone and to inform those about what Juvenile Arthritis.

Wonderful story to share

What a wonderful book to share with anyone. I purchased this book for a friend who has a daughter with a similar situtaion as the author. Such a heartwarming and thoughtful story for those struggling with this to share. Much love!
