Betty Lane-Fagerlund grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. An adventurer and a lover of life, she moved to New York and lived there off and on for twenty years.
She has been married for twenty-six years. She has three children and three grandchildren. She has applied her entrepreneurship to fashion design, artist management, writing books, jewelry design, singing/songwriting, inventor and business ownership. Presently, she lives in Florida. She worked at Bethune-Cookman University for eleven years as the residential manager.
Having acquired so many blessings in her life, she believes it's now her turn to give back to young ladies so they could move forward in this life.
She has published one other book, Keeping In Touch. (ISBN: 978-1-64620-487-8)
She attained her certificate of Excellence in Entrepreneurship at UCF in the Business Incubator Program with a pending patent of her invention in the health industry.
