My name is Davin Drummond. I am 19 years old, born on March 3, 2000. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Growing up I loved to make up stories to tell people or act them out. I had a very wild imagination. I started writing stories when I was in elementary school. My motivation for writing came from reading a lot of books such as "Green Eggs and Ham", "The Cat and The Hat", and "The Trials of Apollo". My first actual story I wrote was in 6th grade with my sister called "The Adventures of Burger boy and Fry boy". It was a comic book we had come up with. She helped write it and I illustrated it. One story I wrote on my own that I still have is called "The Pizza Kingdom". I wrote that in 9th grade. What made me come up with this story is actually from a dream I had when I was in 11th grade. I thought to myself, "What if there was a story where an alien appeared out of nowhere and started making people mysteriously disappear. Then the only detective in the whole town had to solve what was happening, and the person reading could be reading from his perspective and his thoughts as reading someone's journal." So from there I worked on it and showed it to my friends and family. Seeing their reaction and liking to my story, I wanted to share it with everyone. So while you are reading "Under The Full Moon", I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
