Mary is a Canadian cherry and Pepe is from Mexico. The two new friends embark on a quest to find colors in a Mexican traditional market so Mary can learn words in Spanish. In this fun learning adventure, Mary gets to meet all the unique fruits and veggies living in the Mexican market. This book is promoting the philosophy of Cognitive Development through playful enriched experiences in the early stages in life. The characters in this story underline the importance of uniqueness and diversity to live in harmony.

Ana Matthiessen is a Mexican-Canadian author living in sunny Alberta, Canada since 1998. She graduated from “El Instituto Tecnológico de Tlalnepantla” in Mexico, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. When Ana moved to Canada, she began working in the Education field. She has worked over 20 years with preschool aged children and with people with cognitive and physical disabilities since 2012. When Ana isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her two busy teenagers, travelling, photography, writing stories and teaching Spanish as a second language. Ana relishes this opportunity to make learning enjoyable and motivate children to use their imagination.
