Megan Porter is a poet, writer, artist, and the author of Mist & Fog. Over the course of her life, Megan has faced a series of traumatic events ultimately leaving her scarred with severe PTSD. In January of 2020, Megan tried to take her own life, and was sent to a medical facility for treatment. The creation of Mist & Fog was written during her time spent in treatment, and reflects her state of mind through her challenging journey.

Life changing

As a trauma survivor there aren’t many poetry books directed towards PTSD. The writing style and content is eye opening, relatable, and puts you in the writers shoes. Would highly recommend to any trauma survivor.
