Kayla Conrad is drowning in her own mental health issues while trying to navigate her own angelic lineage on her father’s side. She doesn’t know who her father is just yet, but is determined to find herself and him along the way. While she is struggling to find her identity and purpose, her personal journey towards enlightenment has only just begun. Enlightenment is when she gains all of her angelic abilities and the ones chosen specifically for her. Each enlightenment journey is different yet no one seems to be able to tell her how they achieved it. Her own inner emotions become so powerful they are born into the real world as demons. She must come to terms and accept her trauma in order to defeat these self-actualized demons of hers. Her journey towards mentally healthy, her identity and enlightenment is not an easy or quick task. As each day passes the toll of fractured mental health takes its burden. Will she succumb to the weight of her emotions or will she prevail?

I always knew my why. What I didn’t know what how I was going to achieve my why. It wasn’t until I had to come to the realization the need to overcome my own mental health problems. When I started going through the process of fixing the issues my past trauma caused me, I knew telling a story with my experiences would bring light and help others. I found comfort in the pain and now I find comfort in the healing.

Taylor Duran's Book Is A Wonderful Read!!

I love how he takes you on a real life trip throughout his book. He pulls you into a story you cannot stop reading. So many people that suffer from what his main character is experiencing, will feel like they are her. I can't wait for the 2nd book to come out.
